Course Objective

This course is conducted on the guidelines of IATA. It is designed for travel industry professionals whose job profile requires them to sell international air transportation on behalf of IATA member airlines. Students can learn through realistic GDS simulation by choosing Amadeus.

This Foundation course is the first of three levels. The travel & tourism industry sees the role of the travel professional as one oriented towards sales and consultancy, with high product knowledge, accuracy, excellent customer service skills and creativity.   • use knowledge of world geography to sell destinations and plan efficient customer itineraries
  • make air travel arrangements using standard industry coding & terminology and advise services & facilities available to airline passengers before and during their travel
  • provide optimum level of customer service that successfully motivates customers to purchase and builds customer loyalty
