I’m Yogesh Mohan Chadha

When I was 19 I Started One Year Diploma in Travel and Tourism with IATA GDS Fares Ticketing at Bird Academy to learn how travel companies work and how I can Setup a Travel Agency.

One Year With Bird Academy I learned a lot from the course -Computerized Reservation System (Amadeus), Tour Operations, Passenger & Baggage Handling, concepts of Fare Construction- with IATA certification. The product knowledge I gained at Bird Academy brought me closer to my dream – to start a venture in travel domain.

As the classes were thrice a week in the Academy, while pursuing the course I launched my company as a travel agency with my brother Aman. The Knowledge I gained from Bird Academy helped me a lot in this new project. Thanks to the Knowledge and Help of our Trainers Vineetha Ma’am and Radhika Ma’am, I learned to focus, go deep in every subject and how to deal with anyone.

My name is Chandrakala. Career is the most important part of the life. When I was in school I was interested in travel industry. But in our school we had to choose between science, commerce and Arts stream that mainly influences the career path we take up later. So I decided to choose commerce stream. But after completing my graduation I realized that my passion is Travel and Tourism as the travel industry has expanded all these years and travel is a part of human life.

Then my father told me about Bird Academy. I researched about this academy .The institute offers both Full-time and Part-time courses in the field of Aviation, Travel and Tourism. I met Vineetha ma’am and she described the courses. Bird academy gave concession cum scholarship on my course fee as I was related to a middle class family with a zeal to take up a career in Travel and Tourism. The faculties are experienced in their subjects and helpful. I cleared my Diploma and Bird Academy also placed me with a travel agency. Now, I am working in a travel agency to gain some more experience as I want to open my own travel agency. I want to thank Bird academy for giving me an opportunity to complete the diploma and achieve my dreams.

I want to thank Bird Academy and the whole team once again for providing me knowledge about this aviation and hospitality industry.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Radhika Ma’am for the efforts she is putting together. She has been flexible with the timings of the session and even suggested me to apply for a job and not to worry about the session timings.

She gave proper attention and the learning was smooth. I really appreciate the fact that focus is not just on finishing the syllabus but also ensuring that I am learning properly. It is indeed a very difficult time for all of us but she made sure that learning doesn’t stop and I don’t miss the sessions.

My Name is Ankit Jain and I have been working in travel industry for last 13 years. I started my career in 2007 with a US based travel company Orbitz where I worked for a year and then moved to UK based travel company Moresand Ltd.

In the year 2018-19, I had some free time from work so while chatting with one of my colleague who is from Mumbai recommended me to do IATA Consultant course, I liked the idea asked him which would be the best institute in Delhi for it, that’s when he recommended me Bird Academy.

Later that week I went to Connaught Place Bird Academy office and met trainer Ms. Radhika Diwan who after listening to my work experience suggested that IATA Travel Consultant course is best for me, so I got myself enrolled for this course.

My experience with Bird Academy was really good and it helped me explore a completely different approach towards fare calculation and how IATA has defined the industry, during this time I developed further interest in Managing the business which is the next level of IATA course and got myself enrolled for that as well.
